These herbals are carefully blended and fermented with our unique E. faecalis TH10 lactic acid bacteria (LAB)—one of the strongest LAB strains available today. The final extract contains the LAB, its nutritious culture medium, and naturally occurring organic acids, amino acids, minerals, and vitamins.

Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotic Kampuku Beauty Bar is most effective when used with our other probiotic products, especially the Magoroku Skin Lotion. Comprised of probiotic extracts from fourteen wild plants, soothing Aloe vera, peach leaf, and loquat leaf extracts, the herbals in this lotion are metabolized in Japanese Magoroku (equine oil), which is very similar to the skin’s own natural oils and allows for deep absorption of the probiotic properties.

In 1991, the Japanese Dairy and Food Association honored Dr. Iichiroh Ohhira, for his work as a world-renowned microbiologist and formulator of the E. faecalis TH10 strain of LAB.
